Cleans soot not ash. Big difference. There's lots of misinformation out there on the whole soot/ash/dpf thing. Ash can not be regenerated. Only soot can be regenerated into ash, but once it's converted to ash it's in your DPF for good unless you manually remove the DPF and power wash the sh#t out of the honeycomb material or just replace the dpf altogether.
